About Us
Brighter Prospective is not simply a residential group home for adults. We offer a supportive community to those who find it difficult to achieve independence on their own in society because of their disabilities. Our approach to assisting each person means that our residents are valued, accepted, and supported in real and tangible relationships while maintaining their independence.
In our group homes, individuals live with other adults facing similar challenges such as schizophrenia, intellectual disabilities, autism, bipolar disorder, or depression. Direct Support Professionals help maintain a home environment and provide support through on-going activities that guide individuals as they strive to live independently in the local neighborhood and surrounding community.
Each of our homes functions separately but as a part of a single community. We encourage our residents to socialize, attend classes, and participate in recreation, excursions, and other activities that interest them. We encourage community inclusion available at other programs that we offer through our non-centered base and centered base programs. Our job at Brighter Prospective is to structure individual environments to ensure success in the community and with personal goals.

Our History
Brighter Prospective Residential Services is a unique group home for individuals with Intellectual disabilities, mental illness, and individuals with dual diagnoses. Brighter Prospective group homes offer individuals and their families hope and an idyllic environment for healing, growth and independence. Developed in 2016 By Deninez Moss and Gwendolyn Jordan who both worked in the health care industry and in the group home settings. We wanted to be a part of the community in caring for individuals with Intellectual Disability /Autism. Many group homes cater to a particular group but we wanted to carter to adults male or females who needed a home like environment with professional support. We met many parents and friends who had lots of questions about what is a group home and the expectations of a group home. It was our duty and responsibility to provide answers and to assure parents that we can help their love one to regain skills they may have lost while in an institution, to be engaged in everyday activities and to become inclusive in the community. We wanted to make a difference and we did. By opening 2 group homes and an Adult Day Support Services/Community Engagement.
